17 Dec ASI Salerno Awards
We are truly honored to have received the certificate of Ambassador of Sustainability in recognition of our concrete commitment to sustainability issues, a tangible sign of the attention we dedicate to delicate environmental issues and values.
We thank the ASI Salerno Awards for the SUD NORD INVEST event that took place at the Salerno Maritime Station on the 26th and 27th of September 2024, based on the themes of sustainable and industrial development, as well as differentiated autonomy, which is a topic of great relevance for the future of our country.
One of the key topics of the event was the relaunch of differentiated autonomy. The current government, perpetuating a work begun by previous governments, has decided to relaunch this theme. Indeed, the issue of differentiated autonomy was introduced in the reform of Title V of the Constitution in 2001, but unfortunately it remained unimplemented for a long time. Differentiated autonomy consists of an agreement between the government and the regions to delegate exclusive legislative powers in relevant matters, listed in Article 117 of the Constitution, many of which have a significant influence on industrial policy.
Furthermore, during the event, there was the opportunity to reward some of the companies that stand out for their commitment to sustainability with the ASI SALERNO AWARDS initiative, which has now become a best practice among Italian industrial consortia. This event, organized in collaboration with the ESG Observatory of the Sapienza University of Rome, recognized some of the entrepreneurial realities of the province of Salerno that are most sensitive to ESG issues
